I think the `reports no devices' wording is fine. If you want to prompt the
user to load something it ought to be parport_lowlevel not parport_pc.

In an ideal world the parport code would be able to distinguish between "no
driver loaded" and "driver is there but there are no ports" and make the
appropriate comment. Obviously this doesn't quite work if you have more than
one type of parallel port, but only about one user in a million is in that
situation and they can sort it out for themselves. :-)
