Why would I rush out and buy an iPhone when the mobile phone I already have still works perfectly well? Granted, it’s at least eight years old — but that’s a good thing. It must be reliable! This phone has seen many of my friends’ phones come and go, often breaking down in one way or another within a year or two.
The only reason for me to upgrade this phone is to get one that works abroad…

Hmm, well it would work in the US, but the EDGE system isn’t useful in Europe.
Why not try a Nokia N800 tablet? That runs Linux 😉
I think the reliability and usefulness of the iPhone remains to be seen. It is shiny, though 🙂
Why not an N800? I’d rather have something smaller than the phone I already have, not bigger. Perhaps when the displays for these tablets and iPhone things can be rolled away or folded, they might get more interesting.
