system-config-printer branched
I just created a 0.7.74.x branch for system-config-printer, for bug fixes only. Fedora 8 will follow this branch for the time being.

CUPS 1.3b1, CUPSDDK 1.2.0
I’ve updated CUPS in Fedora devel to the 1.3b1 beta package. The cups-1.3-0.b1.2.fc8 build has support for Kerberos and DNS-SD (Bonjour/Zeroconf). The most recent build of selinux-policy is needed to get zeroconf working.

Smolt: where are the printers?
Just read about Smolt statistics, and it looks like it has the potential to be useful for making sure commonly used devices work well with Fedora. I just wish the printer devices page had useful information in.
