Thanx for the speedy response.
I have tried to load module parport_pc.o without any parameters as you
suggested (tmw6) but I then get
the "parport_pc.o init_module: Device or resource busy" message. At this
stage I have not even attempted to
load the ppa.o module.
In Win95 on the same machine the parallel port uses io 0x378 and int 5
as resouces and the Zip-100 works .
The ppa.o driver used to work wit kernel-2.0.34, so something is broken
with the parport.o or parport_pc.o
module, perhaps you can suggest something else to try.
