Tim,

I have recompiled the parport_probe module with the DEBUG flag
and here is the result:

Linux version 2.2.7-ac1 (Linux version 2.2.7-ac1 (root@localhost.localdomain) (gcc version
2.7.2.3) #7 Sat May 1 17:22:01 CEST 1999

paride: version 1.04 installed
paride: epat registered as protocol 0
pd: pd version 1.05, major 45, cluster 64, nice 0
parport0: PC-style at 0x378, irq 7 [SPP,ECP,ECPPS2]
parport0: no IEEE-1284 device present.
pda: Sharing parport0 at 0x378
pda: epat 1.01, Shuttle EPAT chip c5 at 0x378, mode 0 (4-bit), delay 1
pda: FUJITSU M2541B, master, 445536 blocks [217M], (442/16/63),
removable media
 pda: pda1
VFS: Disk change detected on device pd(45,1)
pda: FUJITSU M2541B, master, 445536 blocks [217M], (442/16/63),
removable media
 pda: pda1

I'm quite puzzled, because the original DOZe software recognises a
'fast' port
(whatever that may mean) and the transfer speed is significantly higher.

Cheers,

Pedro A. Aranda
