Hello!
I have a problem, i can't setup a:
HP CD-Writer plus 7200e in Linux RedHat-6.0, i update to Kernel: 2.2.5-22
My machine is a Dell Optiplex also i have a normal cdrom ...in /dev/cdrom
and the HP CDwriter is obviusly coneccted a parallel port.
when i try run...........
# cdrecord -scanbus

cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open SCSI driver.
also i try to install paride module and..................
# insmod paride
