I use an 7GB Tape drive Travan on a Linux station but on a SCSI board! I't
works very well...

I also use a SyQuest EZ230 on a parallel port on another portable
computer...with very good result...

My concern is the time you will have to wait in order to make a backup on a
14GB tape by the parallel port!!!

Are you sure to will have that time? ;-)
