First, I'd recommend visiting http://www.torque.net/parport/cdr.html
In essence you should be able to do:
insmod parport
insmod parport_pc
insmod paride
insmod epat
insmod pg
insmod pcd
At this point, the 7200 should be available as a CD-ROM drive /dev/pcd0
and, it is also available for use by the "cdrecord" program. You need to
obtain cdrecord separately, but all the parallel port stuff is already
there on your system. (At least it is all present on a RedHat 6.0 system,
upon which I understand Mandrake to be based.)
