        I have the IDE version of the Orb and the way I figure out if I've
already reformatted the drive is to run fdisk on it, hit p to print the
drive table and it'll tell you what the format and the logical device name
is.
        Should work on any type of drive, but this one is particular I
know works :)
        
        But, another point is: when the orb disks are shipped, they're
MS-DOS partitions, and usually partition 5
