Danger Will Robinson !!!!! Lots of computers do not use this
address for their parport. There are three addresses that might
be used: 0x378 ( lp1 ), 0x278 ( lp2 ) and 0x3bc ( lp0 ). The
last one is often found with notebooks or PS/2 machines. As
interrupts mostly 7 is used, but 5 also occurs. The latter is a
lot of fun if you use a NE*000 network card ( which uses
same.... ).
In practice you have to try all the addresses and interrupts
above until everything works. So much for PC standardisation....
