[PARPORT] ECP speed using ppdev driver

    Hi,
    I am using ppdev driver for parallel port. I am trying to drive the printer
    connected to my PC in ECP mode, but the throughput which I am getting is
    very poor, some thing in order of 100,000 bytes per second. If I go through
    the code I see a delay of 5 microsecond used in hardcoded fashion in ppdev.c
    while writing the data in ecp mode. Can anyone help me with availability of
    any other existing ECP mode driver for parallel port.
