    The _oldest_? The _newest_ ppdev patch for 2.2 is here:

    It's self-contained so it should apply to just about any 2.2 kernel.

    It's true that ppdev is only integrated into the 2.3/4 kernel tree,
    yes. Only the 2.3 tree makes use of ECP/EPP hardware acceleration
    (although the 2.2 patch will do software-driven transfers).
