And as Gunther Mayer requested, I've obtained a pci interface spec
from Avlab on their i/o cards. I've put it here, for now:

But I must apologise for forgetting to mention what might be a
pertinent point: When I received the Avlab AV-P006 card, it was set to
EPP/ECP mode. I used a supplied DOS utility to set it into EPP mode.
(This mode setting is non-volatile.)

When it is set to the default EPP/ECP mode, the lspci report is:
