    Greetings !

    Under RH7.2 [2.4.17], when
            ftmt -f /dev/nqft0 status
is run, the floppy drive light comes on and I get message
            no such device
after loading ftape, zftape, parport, and bpck modules

I compiled ftape4.04a and ftape-tools from most recent source on ftape
    homepage.

I am using an external Ditto Max Professional connected to the only
parallel port by cable. BTW, this was successfully installed/run under
    RH6.1 [2.2.12-20].

What's wrong and how do I fix it, please ?

    Appreciatively,
    Courtney
