I have to program a device driver under linux.
I've started to write the code and when I try to
compile it some errors are reported:

/usr/include/linux/module.h:299: parse error before
"UTS_RELEASE"

/usr/include/linux/module.h: in function
"print_symbol":
/usr/include/linux/module.h:433: 'ESRCH' undeclared

I don't know what I must do now. Could you help me?

PD: I use Mandrake Linux 9.1 (kernel 2.4.21) and I've
tried to compile using "gcc -D__KERNEL__ -DMODULE -O -Wall"
