[PARPORT] [ANNOUNCE] ftape-4.x-beta-9 + patch for 2.1 kernel inclusion

I'm happy to announce ftape-4.x-beta-9

Changes from version 4.x-beta-8:

- fixed a bug in the autodetection code for the Backpack driver. No
  more "Expected either 0x85 or 0x05, got 0x04" messages.

- /etc/conf.modules examples in `INSTALL'

- the `bpck-fdc-makecrc works only when "." is in PATH' bug is fixed.

- Prepared for kernel inclusion. Rewrote the Config.in script and the
  Configure.help notes. [/usr/src/linux/]Documentation/ftape.txt still
  needs to be rewritten.

- Kernel setup scripts. I have successfully compiled ftape into a
  linxu-2.1.111 kernel, no ftape modules. Naturally, this cannot work
  when using the PnP EZ controller ...

I have prepared two packages:

ftape-4.x-beta-9.tar.gz -- modules package as usual

linux-2.1.111-ftape.diff.gz -- kernel patch for named kernel version.

I'd like to relese ftape-4.00 soon, and send Linus the kernel
patch. Hopefully within this week.
