Howdy folks. I am trying to get a SyQuest SparQ working under redhat5.0,
kernel 2.0.36. The drive is 1Gig, and is hooked up directly to the
parallel port, and my printer is attached to the syquest. The printer
prints correctly.
'inmod paride' and 'insmod epat' work fine. When i try to 'insmod pd',
that is where I am failing. The drive works under Windows correctly. I
tried compiling paride into the kernel, as well as using modules, and
neither worked. I do not know what memory address port it is connected to,
as windows will not tell me. (is there a way to find out?) Here is some
output that might help.. thanks to anyone that has some helpful hints.
(and happy holidays!)
