        Ok, so far so good:
ppSCSI 0.91 (0.91) installed
epst.1: epst 0.91 (0.91), Shuttle EPST at 0x378 mode 5 (EPP-32) dly 1 nice 0 sg

scsi0 : epst
scsi : 1 host.

        But that's all.

        Well, I have a printer and a zip drive too, but I'd be happy if I
could use the scanner or them (which are working for months:).

        But it still doesn't find the scanner, in any /dev/sg?.
