    I just discovered that I get 2 messages at the end (after "Adding Swap:") of
    the dmesg output:

    DMA write timed out
    DMA write timed out
                      
    Does this mean that something doesn't work, or is it normal? The messages do
    not appear when I boot with parport=auto.
