The short answer is yes, it is possible to use any filesystem supported
by Linux on a SparQ.
The longer answer is actually a question: what do you mean by
"but I can't mount it on msdos, fat or vfat."
Please show us the commands you have attempted to use and the errors
that you get. Can you read the partition table on the new media, if
so please show us that too. One of the most common problems in this
area is mounting the wrong device. Are you mounting the correct
partition on the disk ?
