"Legacy" parport on pcs are even simpler than the amiga port. They have
to set strobe by hand. Maybe this has an effect, because on the amiga,
this pin is handled in hardware. There should be a message about this in
the kernel log.
Unfortunately I am still handicapped with moving, but looking forward to
get things done at Oldenburg.
