I’m ready to implement the new job options screen, but it will mean changing a fair amount of code and there will probably be bugs in the implementation until it settles down a bit. Until this point both bugs and new features have been going into the Fedora Core 6 system-config-printer tool, but it’s time to make a branch for bug-fixes only so that I can get on with adding new bits in without causing disruption.
So 0.7.52.x will be for stable bug-fix-only releases, and 0.7.53 onwards will continue to pick up new features. Another reason for doing this is that today I got my first Ubuntu system-config-printer bug report. Imagine that — a Fedora config tool being used by another distribution!
Hmm, perhaps I’ll need to create a project web page for it.
